Cape Town — At yesterday's Monday, 1 October 2007 emergency meeting to resolve the crisis engulfing Soweto's community radio station Jozi FM, the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) and the parties involved put forward proposals to be tabled before the full-sitting of ICASA council today, Tuesday, 2 October.
The meeting follows reports that Jozi FM has been embroiled in a controversy over control of the radio station by various groups, challenging the legitimacy of the current management and the board.
