Kampala — CENTURY Bottling Company, the bottlers of Coca-Cola products, excited Lira residents with the sh900m promotion 'Bonga na Coke.'
The crowd that braved the heavy downpour at Lira grounds reaped dividends after a number of them won instant prizes.
The company's marketing manager, Alex Macharia, recently announced that the promotion is their biggest ever.
"Unlike other promotions, this one, what you see is what you win," Macharia said.
He said the promotion was in line with the company's continuous efforts to exceed customers expectations.
"We believe the promotion will offer consumers an opportunity to win on the Coke side of life as they continue to get refreshed with their favourite beverage. The promotion will also lead to increased sales and profits for our retailers and distribution partners," Macharia added.
The promotion cuts a cross the company's range of brands like Coke, Fanta, Krest, Sprite and Stoney.
The company's promotions manager, Kennedy Mutenyo, said a lucky consumer has to simply go to a dealer and get his/her prize instantly.
Mutenyo said 100 lucky consumers would become instant millionaires.
"There are no more hassles for envelopes," he said.
