Uganda: 10 Private Firms Want to Generate Power

Kampala — TEN private companies have shown interest in investing in the energy sector in the last one year to ease the power shortage.

Daudi Migereko, the energy minister, said several private companies were licensed by the Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA) with the full support of the Government without undue hindrance.
