Nigeria: Amun Challenges Adamu

Lagos — A day after he opened a can of worms on the factors and personalities militating against the growth of sports development in Nigeria, former FA Scribe and Assistant Director in the National Sports Commission, NSC, Fanny Amun appeared unrepentant as he challenged Dr Amos Adamu to quit his position if indeed "he's not the one killing Nigerian sports".

"I challenge Dr Adamu to throw in the towel. I have resigned. Galadima resigned. I waited this long to resign thinking that Adamu will resign. But, since he does not want to resign, he should accept it in good faith that he is the 'ghost' of Nigerian sports. He is the 'Alpha and Omega', he is the only Nigerian genius, the only one competent to hold all positions in sports. He is also the 'Destroyer' of Nigerian sports.
