A private security outfit based in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), FESCO Security has called on residents to pay more attention to security issues, especially as the ember months begin.

Speaking to LEADERSHIP at their stand at the ongoing Abuja trade fair, the managing director of the electro-safety systems organisation, Festus Okpara, said that there was need for residents to be more security- conscious, especially now that the year was coming to an end and crime rate had increased.

FESCO security, he said, was aware that Nigerians care about security of their lives and property, but often do not meet their needs because of financial constraints, hence, the organisation's committment to providing affordable and competitive prices for the latest security services and devices available.

The security outfit which was mandated to represent security equipment dealers in this year's Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps day, Okpala said also trains guards and provides security consultancy along side marketing of security equipment.

He named their services to include high-tech body guard security equipment, 24 hours fire/burglary alarm systems, CCTV and electronic door lock, walk through detection equipment as well as escort bar light sirens, noting that these security devices could help residents compliment the services of established security outfits like police.
