Luanda — Angola's National Defence minister, Kundi Paihama, travelled Tuesday morning to Soyo City, northern Zaire Province, to chair the main act in the commemorations of the 16th anniversary of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), being celebrated this Tuesday.
Also left for Soyo the FAA Chief of Staff, general Francisco Pereira Furtado, officers of the various branches of FAA, defence foreign defence attachés, among other personalities.
The FAA resulted from the fusion between the former governmental forces (FAPLA) and the extinct UNITA army (FALA).
