Eritrea and the United Arab Emirates yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding on ways to upgrade the existing air transport service between the two countries.

The memorandum that was signed in the city of Dubai by the civil aviation authorities of both countries is aimed at organizing flights to and from the two countries.

The agreement would further strengthen relations between the two sisterly countries and would go operational as of the date of the signing. It is to be noted that Eritrean Airlines and NasAir are making regular flights to and from both countries.
