The 3rd PFDJ Youth Conference that was held from October 5 to 8 in Ontario City, Canada, concluded adopting significant resolutions and mapping out a future work program.

The PFDJ youth members from North America and Europe who took part in the conference expressed full support to the values and principles of self-reliance pursued by the PFDJ.

Mr. Yemane Gebreab, Head of Political Affairs at the PFDJ, gave extensive briefings to the participants of the conference on the objective situation in the Homeland, the development programs being implemented through the joint efforts of the people and Government, as well as the role and contribution of Eritrean nationals living abroad.

The Eritrean Ambassadors to Canada and the United States, Mr. Ahferom Berhane and Mr. Ghirmai Gebremariam, respectively, also delivered speeches at the conference regarding the political, economic and diplomatic situation in the Homeland.

After presenting a report on their activities in their respective area, the participants asserted their readiness to do their level best in reinforcing national unity and rebuff hostile acts of defamation directed against their nation.
