Uganda: '43 Percent of Manafwa Girls Pregnant Before 16'

Manafwa — AT least 43 per cent of girls in Manafwa District become pregnated and turn into child mothers before they clock 16 years, a new study has shown.

Ms Joanne Leerloijer, a researcher from the Netherlands, conducted the study on sexuality among adolescents in the district between November 2004 and July 2005.
