Addis Ababa — President Girma Woldegiorgis was reelected Tuesday for a second term in office by a joint session of the House of Peoples' Representatives and the House of the Federation.
We believe the president possesses the required love and commitment to his country as well as the experience and knowledge that makes him fit for the job. In spite of the limitations his age and health condition may have posed, he has commendably discharged his duty during his term. Hence, it is proper that he is re-elected for a second term.
