Nigeria: Lawmaker Makes Case for Unemployed Youths

Maiduguri — Chairman, Borno State House of Assembly Committee on Information and Home Affairs, Hon. Umar Abatcha, has said the peace and harmony of the country would continue to be at risk if the high unemployment rate was not addressed.

Abatcha, who advised the Federal Government to do something urgently to lessen the present high rate, traced the Niger Delta crisis to the non-availability of jobs to the numerous youths of the area.
