Adi Nefas

The administration of the Central Region is undertaking over 55 million Nakfa worth of infrastructural projects in the sub-zone of Adi Nefas, project manager from the Asbeko Construction Company, Mr. Kelete Berhe said.

The project is being undertaken in accordance with land allotment plans and so far 130 streets have been designed, Mr. Kelete added.

Stating that a dam found on the Asmara-Adi Nefas road has been causing transportation problems during the rainy season, Mr. Kelati said that two bridges are being constructed in addition to a feeder road to solve the transportation problems. The bridges are 25 meters long and 7 meters wide, in which 250 tubes with 120 centimeters of length will be installed in each bridge.

Adi Nefas has a population size of 3,000 inhabitants.
