Cape Town — The head of the Anglican Church in Southern Africa has said a decision by American bishops not to bless same-sex unions or ordain homosexual bishops provided an opportunity to bridge the rift in Anglicanism.
Archbishop Njongonkulu Ndungane of Cape Town said, "The Anglican Communion now has a basis for going forward together."
