The Kudofelasi Administrative office, in the Mendefera sub zone, noted that potable water supply projects built at a cost of about 300,000 Nakfa are rendering sufficient services to the inhabitants of the area.

Mr. Haile Woldesilasie, administrator of the district, indicated that a well and a water tank, with a holding capacity of 200 barrels, built at a cost of 160,000 Nakfa in Deranto is rendering commendable services and playing a major part in the lives of the inhabitants.

Furthermore, Mr. Haile disclosed that Mr. Kiflemariam Habtemicheal, a native inhabitant of Kudofelasi, offered 70,000 Nakfa to the village so that the well and water tank built in Kudofelasi, in collaboration with the inhabitants and partners, will be able to distribute water supply through out surrounding villages.

Similarly, Mr. Berhe Gebremariam, a 73 year old priest native to Adi Ade, Kudofelasi administrative district, built a 12 meter deep well that inhabitants can use free of charge.
