The branch office of the Ministry of Agriculture in the Northern Red Sea region disclosed that successful development work campaigns have been executed in the sub-zone of Afabet in line with the ongoing efforts to ensure food security.

Reports said that the work campaign is being carried out through the coordinated efforts of the administration office, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Rodab Construction Company.

The reports further indicated that the main goal of the development activities is to utilize the water that drains from terrains for agricultural purposes.

In the work campaign that has been carried-out by the assistance of 3 dozers, a total of over 18,000 cubic meters of embankments were constructed.
