Nigeria: Army Chief Commends Akwa Ibom Government On Niger Delta Crisis

Abuja — The General Officer Commanding 82 division, Nigerian Army, Enugu, Major General Adamu T. Ibrahim, has commended Akwa Ibom State Government for putting up stringent checks on the activities of Niger Delta militants in the state.

He gave the commendation while on a courtesy visit to the state governor in Uyo. The GOC stated that his visit to the state was to acquaint himself with the various battalions under his command.
