Nairobi — Angola's Division One premier league club Atletico Petroleos de Luanda Director General Delcio Ferreira Costa is in the country to sign a professional football contract with Tusker FC striker Allan Wanga.

Costa told SportFest at Chemelil Sports Complex at the weekend he is accompanied by Atletico Petroleos de Luanda official Antonio Austino to seal a professional contract deal with Tusker prolific scorer Wanga.

Contacted for comment Tusker chairman, Patrick Naggi, who was present during the Chemelil Sugar match against Tusker, which ended in a barren draw, confirmed the Angolan club officials were keen on signing up the striker.

During the interview the Portuguese speaking Austino who doubled up as the club's interpreter said the duo jetted into the country last Tuesday to conclude negotiations with Tusker on Wanga's contract.

"Negotiations between Tusker and Atletico Petroleos to sign Wanga started last July when I came to the country accompanied by Atletico's club coach Carlos Queinos," Austino said.
