Nigeria/Cote d'Ivoire: Elephants May Not Beat Country - Ivorien Coach

Accra — The coach of the Elephants of Cote d'Ivoire Uli Stielike took a philosophical look at Group B following the draws held in Accra last Friday for the 2008 African Nations Cup and told THISDAYSports that it was not in the best interest of the Ivoriens and their fans to look back at the last Nations Cup as a yardstick in predicting the result of the big clash between Nigeria and Cote d'Ivoire next January.

The ceremony, which held at the Accra International Conference Centre, fixed Nigeria, Cote d'Ivoire, Mali and Benin Republic in Group B and which was instantly branded the toughest zone by analysts. The teams play in Sekondi.
