Festival Eritrea 2007 in the UK, which was conducted from 19 to 21 October, concluded on Sunday in a colorful manner. A cultural troupe from the Homeland and Eritrean musicians abroad staged musical performances, thus adding color to the Festival.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Head of Organizational Affairs at the PFDJ, Mr. Abdella Jabir, conducted a seminar to Festival participants on the prevailing situation in the region and the Homeland, as well as on the on-going national development endeavors.

Noting that the holding of the Festival is a vivid demonstration of the prevailing strong unity and pride in Eritrean identity, Mr. Abdella called on nationals abroad to boost their cooperation among one another and to reinforce their ranks so as to step up their participation in various national development programs.

Different seminars, cultural shows, arts exhibitions and other activities were staged in the course of the three-day Festival.
