Luanda — A documentary on the debut participation of the Angolan national team in the world championship, in 2006 in Germany, opens Thursday here the cycle of German cinema, ANGOP has learnt.
Entitled "The dream of the Sable Antelope" (the Angolan squad is dubbed sable antelopes), the 93-minute film was made by Christopher Goldmann and Leif Karpe and shows the national team stay in Celle City, where they were based during the world cup.
Under the cycle, eleven films will be shown, between October 26 and November 09.
The session, that is to finish in the date that marks the fall of the Berlin wall, on November 09, 1989, is a sequence of a protocol recently signed between Portugal's Camoes Institute and Germany's Goethe Institute.
