Zimbabwe: Anti-Domestic Violence Council Appointed

Harare — AN eight-member Anti-Domestic Violence Council has been set up to spearhead the implementation of the Domestic Violence Act, the Minister of Women's Affairs, Gender and Community Development, Cde Oppah Muchinguri, announced yesterday.

President Mugabe this month fixed October 25 as the date on which the Act would come into operation.
