Luanda — An exhibition of more than 100 works of plastic arts portraying natural and human beauty was opened Friday at Celamar Gallery, in Luanda, to close the fourth edition of cultural project "Coopearte".
The exhibition, running until November, will have works by over 80 artists, amongst national and foreign artists, on subjects like sculpture, ceramics, painting, weaving, among others. Speaking to ANGOP, the painter Francisco Van-Dúnem "Van", considered beneficial his participation at the event as it enables the exchange of experience on behalf of development of creativeness of each artist and of plastic arts itself.
On his turn, the Serbian painter, Mirjana Vujnovic " Miga", also expressed her satisfaction at the participation for the third time in Coopearte, an event considered as improving each year, taking into account the works shown by the artists. Happy with the event, the Culture deputy minister, André Mingas, commended the plastic artist Marcela Costa for the initiative of Coopearte, as it has been gathering many plastic artists, in particular young students who seek to learn more and more.
"Coopearte" is project created by Marcela Costa in 2004, aimed at bringing together Angolan and foreign plastic artists, in an interaction with the public lover of the plastic arts.
