Eritrea: Ministry of Defense Staff Office Graduate 75 Officers in Management Science

The Ministry of Defense Staff Office graduated 75 officers in management science who completed a 7-month course.

The course included principles of management, human resource management, office and information management, as well as related topics.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, the head of the Staff Office, Col. Mekonnen Kahsai, explained that the course is in line with the Defense Ministry's efforts to develop its human resource capacity. He further indicated that the course is aimed at familiarizing staff members assigned to administration offices with modern management principles and information technology. Col. Mekonnen expressed appreciation to the Ministry of Education, the Research and Documentation Center of the PFDJ, staff members of the Defense Ministry, the British Council and teachers for making due contribution to the success of the course.

A representative of the course participants, Lt. Colonel Zerai Andemariam stressed the importance of courses of this kind in the day-to-day activities of their task and commended the Ministry of Defense Staff Office for organizing the course. Brig. General Keseteberhan Gebrehiwet and other Army officers handed certificates to the graduates.
