Nigeria: Grain Prices Rise 100 Percent in Kano

Prices of food items have doubled in a little over a month in Kano markets following the fear of possible drought as a result of poor rainfall this year.

Foodstuff prices in Northern markets have also risen because of a large influx of merchants from Niger Republic, Daily Trust learnt.
