Angola: Seminar On Repair of National Heritage Closes Today

Luanda — The seminar on maintenance and rehabilitation of natural and constructed heritage, which started Monday here, is to end Wednesday with the themes "Reinforcement of bridges in Angola's reconstruction" and "Rehabilitation of Dundo National Museum", ANGOP has learnt.

Other themes for Wednesday are "Maintenance and Rehabilitation of monuments and sites in Benguela", "Diversion works on Chicapa and Luó rivers" and "Maintenance of heritage in Sao Tome and Principe".

The gathering is being co-organised by the Laboratory of Engineering of Angola and its Portuguese counterpart and aims at improving quality and security in civil engineering works in the ambit of the Angolan government's efforts towards reconstruction of infrastructures countrywide.

Angola, Guinea Bissau, Cape Verde, Mozambique and Portugal are participating in the gathering.
