A total of 30 health professionals graduated yesterday upon completion of a 2-year degree program organized by the Ministry of Health in collaboration with the UK's Dandi University.

The graduates are staff members of the Ministry from all the administrative regions who have been serving as nurses, hospital administrators and teachers. The courses were conducted via the internet and teleconferences, as well as by instructors from Dandi University.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony at Orotta Hospital, the director general of human resource development in the Ministry of Health, Dr. Andom Oqbamariam, pointed out that the Ministry, in collaboration with other government institutions, is striving to upgrade the capacity of staff members as part of the endeavors to render efficient services to the public.

The deputy director of Dandi Univerity, Prof. James Calderhead, handed certificates to the graduates.
