Asmara — The Eritrean National War-Disabled Patriots Association secured assistance worth 171,000 Euros from nationals residing abroad.
The assistance contributed by members of the Association in Stuttgart, Germany, and other concerned Eritrean citizens includes 50 sewing machines, over 100 wheelchairs and crutches, as well as physiotherapy equipment, among others.
The head of organizational and information tasks in the Association, Mr. Abraham Kifletsion, said that its members in Stuttgart had previously contributed 5 water pumps, different computer equipments and sewing machines. He added that the latest donation would play a significant role in rehabilitating disabled citizens.
Mr. Abraham expressed appreciation for the gesture and called on nationals abroad to enhance their contribution to the Association.
