A total of 5,840,000 Nakfa has been paid to 4,000 martyrs' families in Mai-Mine sub-zone as part of a benefit scheme.

Reports indicated that the beneficiaries received the payment in areas nearer to them so as to avoid transport and related problems they were facing previously.

The beneficiaries expressed satisfaction with the Government's continued support.
