A 3.5 km-long new road has been constructed in Gindae town at a cost of 55 million Nakfa.

The manager of Bidho Construction Company, Mr. Mengsteab Zeru, explained that 3 meter wide pedestrian walk has been constructed along the two sides of the road, in addition to the construction of 16 big and small bridges.

Indicating that previously the transportation system was not up to standard, he pointed out that the new road would render transport services to and fro Asmara-Massawa.
