Asmara — The Eritrean National Cycling Team has scored impressive achievements at a 22-km. chronometer race of the African Championship taking place in Cameroon.
Accordingly, Eritrean cyclists Bereket Yemane, Frekalsi Debesai and Daniel Teklehaimanot stood 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively in the race in which more than 136 cyclists from 17 countries took part.
Those who stood 1st and 2nd were South African professional cyclists, and in contrast the performance demonstrated by the Eritrean cyclists was quite impressive, stated Dr. Azam, President of the International Cycling Racing Association.
