The Eritrean Ambassador to the European Union, Mr. Girma Asmerom, presented his credentials to the President of the European Commission, Mr. Jose Manuel Barroso.

During the presentation ceremony, Mr. Girma and Mr. Barroso held discussion on the significance of demarcating the Eritrean-Ethiopian border, as well as the prevailing situation in the region.

The two sides also reviewed that the relations and partnership between Eritrea and the EU is gaining momentum. They also agreed to further enhance relations.
