In line with the efforts being made to upgrade the skill of its members, the Ministry of Information yesterday graduated 41 staff members who completed a training course in video editing, sound recording and video camera.

Mr. Tombosa Asmelash, head of the news and current affairs desk at ERI-TV, pointed out that the training focused on TV production, especially sound recording. He further stated that there are plans to provide training on digitalized sound recording techniques. The training was given by experienced staff members of the Ministry.

Mr. Asmelash Abraha, director general of the Television Department, handed certificates to the graduates. It is to be recalled that the Information Ministry had graduated 25 staff members in basic journalism and video camera earlier this month.
