Eritrea: Eritreans in Manheim, Rotterdam And Utrecht Hold Public Meetings

Asmara — In continuation of the public meetings conducted in different parts of the world, Eritreans residing in the cities of Manheim, Rotterdam and Utrecht held meetings during which they expressed support to the Eritrean government's stance and reaffirmed their readiness to safeguard the nation's sovereignty.

In a meeting in Manheim on November 17 that was attended by Eritrean nationals from the German cities of Frankfurt, Kaiserslautern, Heidelberg and others, the participants lauded the efforts Eritrea is exerting to promote peace in the region. They also asserted that they would reinforce national unity and meet any eventuality.

Eritrean intellectuals presented papers on the development drive in the Homeland and its positive contribution in improving the living standards of the people.

Meanwhile, Eritrean citizen in the Dutch cities of Rotterdam and Utrecht held a similar meeting, during which briefing was given on the objective situation in the Homeland and current challenges. The participants reiterated their support to the on-going national development endeavors.

It is to be recalled that Eritreans living in different European cities and the United States held public meetings last week.
