The Justice Minister, Mr. Jean-Bosco Ndikumana, promised to enter into a dialogue with the workers of this ministry. This was indicated after the ceremonies of handing over at the ministry of Justice. Mr. Ndikumana promised to unblock the salaries of October for the judicial order agents which were blocked by the former justice minister, Ms Clotilde Niragira, in the wake of a strike which has already lasted more than 5 weeks.

Mr Ndikumana indicates that he is going to check if the measure to block the salaries of the agents on strike was legal or not. The agents on strike indicate they will resume work if they receive payment of their salaries for the month of October.

The current Justice Minister has had a bad record over the two years that the CNDD-FDD has spent on power. Major events tarnished the country over the past two years when he was the General Public Prosecutor.
