Nigeria: Siemens Bribe Scandal - 13 Indicted Nigerians Provide Imformation for ICPC Probe

THE Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) confirmed yesterday that some of the 13 indicted Nigerians in the Siemens bribe scandal had made useful statements to it but said none had been quizzed yet. They also provide it with vital information to facilitate thorough investigation of the alleged scandal.

Mr. Folu Olamiti, Resident Consultant, Media and Event of the ICPC said in statement that the commission was carrying out preliminary investigations into the matter and a good number of the accused persons have made useful statements to the commission. Requests have been sent to Siemens to provide the commission with some vital information that would facilitate thorough investigation on the matter.
