Barentu — The Minister of Justice, Ms. Fawzia Hashim, called for the active participation of government institutions and the general public in efforts to ensure social justice and develop customary law.

She made the remarks at a lecture she gave in Barentu that was attended by sub-zonal administrators, PFDJ members, branch heads of ministries, Assembly members, Army commanders and heads of associations.

Ms. Fawzia pointed out that the Ministry is striving to promote the speedy and fair administration of justice and that visible achievements have been registered in this regard. She further indicated that the number of legal professionals has increased thanks to training programs organized by the Ministry.
