23 November 2007

Addis Abeba — Marking the Day of the African Statistics on Tuesday, Ethiopia launched the new version of EthioinfoV2, in a bid to expand the dissemination of information pertaining to socioeconomic and human development.

The tool will compile data on one common database platform making it more accessible for all users, whenever needed, according to UNICEF which supported the tool's production technically along with the UN team here.

It provides easy-to use facilities for querying the database to retrieve specific data, which can then be easily transformed into tables, graphs and maps for inclusion in reports and presentations.
