Harare — Hwange..(2) 4 Njube Sundown..0 HWANGE breathed life into their relegation battle when they turned on the power and clobbered visiting Njube Sundowns at the Colliery yesterday.

The coalminers are in the league's relegation zone and they trooped onto the pitch bottom of the log with 29 points. And probably for the first time in their lengthy flirtation with the elite league dating back to 1989 when they were last relegated, Hwange find themselves desperate for points with just two matches to go. Mwana Africa's 3-1 win over Eastern Lions on Saturday had left Hwange at the basement of the log standings and put more pressure on the coalminers to win yesterday's match.
