According to them, the demonstration was intended to draw the attention of the central government and its partners to investigate the murder of LAC Plantation Manager, and to bring the culprits to justice.

In an exclusive interview with The Analyst in Buchanan, the spokesperson of the women, Madam Dehsaywrehn Tokpa maintained that the killing on Bruno has far-reaching consequences on the country, noting that it has the propensity to scare away potential investors.

This body, the women said, must include the corporate family of LAC, the Bassa people and others so as to serve as a deterrent to other would be criminals.
