Seminars on the objective situation in the Homeland and the region have been conducted today in different Eritrean towns in which thousands of members of different government institutions and the PFDJ took part.

The seminars are in continuation of the ones that have been taking place inside the country and abroad and focused on agendas dealing with strengthening resistance and concept, the border issue and peace, the TPLF clique's intention and preparations to launch war and the internal situation in Ethiopia, as well as regional and international issues.

A discussion paper presented at the seminars outlined that the TPLF regime's war of aggression did not emanate from that of border per se but rather to disintegrate and subjugate Eritrea and its people. Noting that as far the TPLF is concerned, border demarcation means creating the ground that would block the realization of its wicked agenda, the paper underlined that the regime, with the encouragement and support of its collaborators, especially the US Administration, has been persistently rejecting border demarcation.

When, on the one hand, it became clear to the TPLF clique that its day dream of seeing "the Eritrean economy collapsing under the stress of war and lack of foreign aid leading to political, economic and social turmoil" was nothing but a wild dream and, on the other, the aggravating internal crisis and mounting popular opposition against the regime inside Ethiopia, the paper elaborated that the shaky regime is engaged in massive arms purchase and making preparations to invade Eritrea, with the order and blessing of the US Administration that is instigating instability in the region.

The briefings further appraised seminar participants that the US Administration's attempt to place Eritrea on the list of "states sponsoring terrorism," with a view to justifying the aforementioned anti-Eritrea ploys, cannot win support considering Eritrea's well-known anti-terrorism role and stance which even the authors of such slanderous allegations are fully aware.

The participants of the seminars expressed deep satisfaction with the impressive achievements the Eritrean people have registered in the political, military, economic and diplomatic domains. In this regard, they underscored the Eritrean people's strong political resourcefulness that enabled them to safeguard the nation's sovereignty and lay solid ground for economic transformation. Moreover, the participants stressed the need to keep intact our firm national unity, conviction, and cherished values and principles.

Meanwhile, the PFDJ Central Office indicated that the seminars would continue inside the country and abroad.
