Parenting is a great challenge and at the same time, a great blessing. However, parenting HIV positive children calls for a lot more sensitivity and strength because it poses unique challenges, no matter how the infection occurred. For that matter, there is a need to be equipped with the relevant information.

For starters, parents and guardians of HIV positive children should gather as much information as possible about HIV/Aids. It is crucial to know HIV/Aids jargon and terminology so as to be fully aware of your role in antiretroviral therapy. HIV/Aids is very dynamic.
