Uganda: Studio 53 Marks 200th Episode

Kampala — LAST Thursday, November 29, MNet's Studio 53 celebrated its 200th episode. The show, presented by Uganda's Gaetano Kagwa, and South Africa's Rosie Motene, commemorated the feat with a look at the show back then and how far it has come.

It is just over three years since Studio 53 started bringing DStv audiences stories from all over the African continent. These have been packaged into two hundred action packed episodes, spiced up with the many cultures of 38 different destinations.

To supplement the menu of their celebrations was a feature on young designers who have set their sights on winning this year's Redds African Fashion Design Awards and the volcanic mountainous Island of Reunion among others.

Studio 53 shows on MNet on Thursdays and there is a repeat MNet Series on Saturdays at 7:00pm.
