Kigali — Thirty professionals working in several Rwandan institutions have graduated in leadership course organised by On The Frontier (OTF) and the Ministry of Commerce.
The three-month training, African Leadership Capacity Programme, was conducted by OTF in partnership with Rwanda Institute of Management (RIAM) during which participants were trained in leadership principles.
OTF Chairman, Michael Fairbanks, said the course would help inspire young professionals in "building a creative and problem solving labourforce; leadership is a continuous process."
He made the remarks while presenting the certificates to the graduands at Hotel Novotel, Umubano recently.
RIAM Director General, Mark Kabandana, said the course was a fruitful partnership between RIAM and OTF in their endeavour to create a very competitive workforce in Rwanda's economy. The Minister of Public Service, Skills Development and Labour, Prof. Manasseh Nshuti said the training was very crucial for the country's new breed of leaders.
