Eritrea: President Isaias And Libyan Leader Hold Talks in Tripoli

Asmara — Presidents Isaias Afwerki and Muammar Al-Khadafi of Libya held talks in Tripoli yesterday on bilateral and regional issues, as well as on affairs of the African Union.

On arrival in Tripoli last night, the high-level Eritrean Government delegation headed by President Isaias was accorded a warm welcome by senior Libyan officials.

It is to be recalled that the high-level Eritrean Government delegation headed by President Isaias left for Portugal yesterday to attend the 2nd Conference of African countries and the European Union scheduled to take place in Lisbon from December 7 to 8.
