Harare — Tongai Moyo leads Nicholas Zakaria, Dino Mudondo and Girls of Peace as they invade Alick Macheso's fortress, Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex, tomorrow night.
Moyo begins his schedule in partnership with Tedious Matsito of the Nyaradzo fame and Girls of Peace at Magamba Hall in Warren Park 1 tonight before they set Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex alight tomorrow. On Sunday, Moyo, Mudondo, Zakaria and Girls of Peace present a family show at Mabvuku Stadium.
While Moyo will be jamming at Magamba Hall tonight, Macheso, the Assegai Crew, Solo Makore and IWISA Dancing Group will be wowing revellers at Club Lashers in Budiriro at the same time. Tomorrow, Macheso moves to the heart of the city when he plays at the Sports Diner alongside Assegai Crew and King Labash, who has now assembled a band of his own.
Macheso shares the stage with Roki for the first time at the Harare Gardens on Sunday afternoon where King Labash of the Kukonzeresa fame, Mafriq, Sniper, XQ and Assegai Crew will be the supporting acts for the two Zima award winners. BV Labien Musica, the rhumba outfit of the moment, gyrates at Pagomo Winners Ranch Café in Tynwald South tonight before heading to Highfield for another show at Club Whispers tomorrow night.
High-riding Takesure Muronzi and his Pasi Vanhu Stars plus Isaac Tazvida play at Madzeka (Dzekasburg) Night Club in Mutoko tonight before strumming again at March Motel in Nyamapanda tomorrow night.
Mambokadzi entertains fans at Londoner's Club on Sunday before showcasing their dances at Girls' High School on Monday afternoon. Club M5 in Westlea tonight hosts Kapfupi and Nyakasikana while Progress Chipfumo and Millennium Queens perform at the joint tomorrow night. Millennium Queens take fans for a treat at the joint on Sunday. Jazz sensation Dudu Manhenga and Victor Kunonga hold an open-air gig dubbed African Christmas at the Doon Estates Shops in Msasa Park tonight. Club Hideout 99 is the only place to be when it hosts Allan Chimbetu tonight.
Mudondo brings his Jatropha act to Jazz 105 where he shares the stage with Mbare Trio and Summer Breeze tonight. Tomorrow, the venue hosts ex-Lovemore Majaivana backing vocalist Lwazi Tshabangu. Club Matute assumes its authority as the headquarters of nightlife in Mbare when it hosts First Farai tonight while Progress Chipfumo invades the venue on Sunday. Chimbetu will be at Warren Park D Shopping Centre (kwaMereki) on Sunday for another performance at Brooklyn Night Club better known as Harlem Nights.
With Allan happening in the capital, Sulumane Chimbetu lands at Concession Country Club tonight before he takes on Mvurwi revellers at Shamwari Joe Hotel tomorrow. Tomlinson Depot tonight hosts Mahendere Brothers, Kudzi Nyakudya, Bethen Pasinawako, Carol Mujokoro, Rumbidzai, Lucky Mabhande and Amanda Sagonda at a show that lasts till tomorrow morning.
Bindura Press Club hosts a fundraising show at the Hermann Gmeiner High School for journalist Regis Mhako who lost property in a veld fire. The fundraising show features Mai naBaba Charamba and other supporting groups from Bindura. Chikangwe Stadium in Karoi hosts a family benefit concert tomorrow to raise funds to buy a lorry for the Baptist Church. The family show features Pax Gomo, Diva Mafunga, Mechanic Manyeruke, Vabati VaJehovah, Munyaradzi Mupostori Muchetu, Dombo raMwari Apostolic Church and Vabati Vesimba. This weekend marks the return of DJ Dexter Dee in the capital and tonight he spins the wheels alongside DJ Handii at Phat Sam's joint. Check out the latest house and ol'skool music.
Kireni Zulu gives back to the community when he takes part in the Chinhoyi Mayor's Christmas Cheer Fund party set for Chinhoyi University of Technology tomorrow. Lee Roy Lunga, better known as Kamusena, will be at Shakebody Beer Gardens in Mt Hampden tonight. Kamusena will be promoting his latest album "Anga Ari Pano" at Jumbo Hotel in Mazowe tomorrow. With the inaugural Ethno-Design Fashion Week on its peak, local designer Tawanda Zawanda will be launching his label Limit X at the Batanai Gardens KFC this afternoon.
First Farai, accompanied by Go Girls, invades Mt Darwin when he plays at Tama Night Club today before he moves to Glendale tomorrow en-route to Concession on Sunday.
