Eritrea: Inhabitants of She'ib Sub-Zone Get Access to Potable Water Supply

The inhabitants of 6 administrative areas in the She'ib sub-zone now have access to potable water supply thanks to a newly implemented project, according to the administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Abdu Ahmed Telke.

He pointed out that the project had includes the construction of 36 water distribution stations, 9 water tankers with a capacity of holding 900 cubic meters, the installation of 7 generators and the digging of 7 wells.

Mr. Abdu further indicated that similar projects would be implemented in the Kilon and Shelshal administrative areas as part of the on-going efforts to ease water supply problems in the area.

The She'ib sub-zone, with a population of more than 29,000, comprises of 8 administrative areas.
