Eritrean nationals living in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Abu Dhabi pledged to live up to expectation as regards safeguarding the nation's sovereignty through resisting acts of hostility and conspiracy. They made the pledge in public meetings they held recently, as part of similar seminars being conducted inside the country and abroad on the objective situation in the Homeland.

The Head of Political Affairs at the PFDJ, Mr. Yemane Gebreab, and the Head of Organizational Affairs at the Front, Mr. Abdalla Jabir, respectively gave briefings to the participants on the objective situation in the Homeland and the region, the resistance of the Eritrean people at home and abroad, the TPLF regime's agenda and its preparation for war, the internal situation in Ethiopia, as well as regional and international issues.

More than 3,000 nationals participated in the Riyadh meeting characterized with patriotic spirit, according to reports.
