Eritrea: 2.2 Million-Nakfa Youth Center Built in Kudobur

A youth center has been built in Kudobur, Emni Haili sub-zone, at a cost of about 2.2 million Nakfa. The cost was covered jointly by the sub-zonal administration, the NUEYS Office in the Southern region, partners and students of the Kudobur Secondary School. The Minister of Tourism, Ms. Amna Nurhusein, inaugurated the center that includes offices, an assembly hall and recreation facilities.

The head of NUEYS office in the region, Hager Ganzai, indicated that the newly opened cinema and library in the sub-zone of Senafe, a computer training center in the Segeneiti sub-zone, and a library, cinema and recreation center in the town of Dubarwa are playing a significant role in upgrading the skills of youth. He added that similar facilities are under construction in other sub-zones.

Also speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the Administrator of the Southern region, Mr. Mustafa Nurhusein, called on all concerned parties to make utmost effort to cultivate a dynamic youth so that they may be endowed with a clear vision. He also urged the youth to make good use of the available facility.
