Civil society organisations have warned that regional agreements signed by the Government may undermine the Juba peace talks, writes Raymond Baguma.

Speaking during a meeting with the LRA peace delegation at the Hotel Africana in Kampala on Wednesday, Arthur Bainomugisha of the Advocates Coalition for Development and Environment said:

"The Government should avoid entering into agreements that undermine the peace talks."

The Great Lakes region Tripartite Plus summit was recently held in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, to develop strategies to deal with dissident forces, including the LRA.
