The inhabitants of Gash-Barka region reiterated their readiness to meet any eventuality designed to undermine the nation's sovereignty.

They voiced the commitment at public meetings held in different parts of the region in which different government officials gave seminars.

The participants reaffirmed their resolve to steadfastly rebuff anti-Eritrea acts of hostility and conspiracy. They further expressed determination to reinforce the on-going reconstruction and development programs. Moreover, the participants of the meeting asserted that the TPLF regime's war-mongering policy would end up in utter failure.
